24 hours – 18 locations in Frankfurt – 18 basic conditions of life – “One Day in Life” got Frankfurt on the move: On the weekend of 21 and 22 May 2016, more than 75 concerts took place within Frankfurt’s city limits – at 18 different locations, in two-hour intervals and with a duration of 40 to 45 minutes.
This documentary captures the spirit of the bold concert project by Daniel Libeskind & Alte Oper Frankfurt. “Music is not only to be performed at great halls, that we know. Music is part of everyday life. And the idea of this journey across Frankfurt is to really experience what life is about,” says Daniel Libeskind and challenges the audience to become active and make their way through the city, through the music, and through life itself.
The concert project “One Day in Life” is made up of individual concert events at various locations in Frankfurt.
